Inniò – from the Friulian word meaning “nowhere, everywhere” – is a cultural association founded in 2020 to give voice to diversity in all its forms. Drawing on the international experience of SUNS Europe, our organisation unites professionals specialising in artistic direction, historical research and technical management, transforming the protection of linguistic and civil rights into actual artistic initiatives.

“Al savê dal fen”

The first, highly anticipated album from Manledrôs, “Al savê dal fen”, is finally available!
It is an album in which folk, psychedelia and avant-rock are thrown together, yielding a chaotic, unclassifiable sonic mix. Poetry rolls tirelessly through these tracks in search of a visceral harmony between man and nature. A precious object, to be cherished and collected with care.

FRIÛL meets LADINIA

Inniò organised a busy and beautiful weekend for our Ladin friends from the InOut – Val di Fassa Cooperative, who enjoyed music, shared ideas and cultural projects, glasses of wine and steaming frico, all while immersing themselves in the colours and spirit of Friuli’s Colli Orientali. When different regions come together, new relationships, visions, and paths to explore are forged.

Inniò and Nota have joined forces to launch a new record label with the aim of shaking up the world of Friulian music.
Throughout 2026, the creativity of Devid Strussiat, Massimo Silverio, Cûr di Veri, Arbe Garbe, Unviâr and many others will take shape in a variety of unwavering productions, available in a range of formats: LPs, CDs and cassette tapes.
These new releases and reissues give dignity and value to the relentless work of a creative generation that is capable of reinventing a language in dialogue with the contemporary world.
Manledrôs is a project supported by ARLeF (the Regional Agency for the Friulian Language) and the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

    OUR PROJECTS

    We operate in the fields of music production and publishing, as well as organising major multidisciplinary festivals. Our ambitious goal is to revitalise minority cultures by freeing them from the constraints of folkloric stereotypes through contemporary forms of expression. We manage complex international projects and promote ethnographic and musical heritage in collaboration with small communities. Inniò operates as a creative laboratory where minority languages become tools for social reflection, connecting the local with the European and the cosmopolitan.

    Festivals & Events

    Inniò, art tai lûcs di mont
    This multidisciplinary festival explores the deep connection between artistic expression and the local landscape. Through site-specific installations, performances and concerts in evocative natural settings — from former mines to the peaks of Carnia — the festival transforms the landscape into a vehicle for beauty and contemporary reflection.

    Istât/Unvier
    Born out of a long-standing collaboration with the City of Udine and its Office for the Friulian Language, these seasonal festivals are dedicated to promoting contemporary musical works. Unvier serves as a true incubator of creativity, inspiring artists to explore innovative forms of expression and contemporary sounds that transcend the conventions of traditional folklore and bring the Friulian language to the forefront of the modern cultural scene.
    Linguae Mundi
    As part of the GO!2025 programme, the International Festival of Minority Languages was a cross-border workshop involving Italy and Slovenia. Through technical conferences and artistic performances, the festival promoted European cooperation and the invaluable heritage of linguistic diversity for future generations.

    Our record label is dedicated to producing and releasing new works in the Friulian language. The project supports the current creative energy, blending the revival of tradition with modern sounds. It guarantees professional distribution for artists across physical formats and digital platforms.
    Natisa / Viers (Walking art)
    Inniò promotes the physical journey through the landscape as an act of artistic awareness, with the journey itself serving as a unifying theme that connects music, art, and literature. As part of GO!2025, we created ‘Natisa’: a caravan of artists who walked the entire length of the Natisone River over the course of a week. In 2026, the Viers project will see us exploring the Pordenone foothills in the footsteps of poets such as Federico Tavan, Novella Cantarutti, and Leonardo Zanier. Our aim is to rediscover the soul of these places through the words of those who lived and sang about them.

    Bota e Rispuesta
    This is a publishing project focused on the preservation and promotion of ethnographic heritage. Through rigorous research and carefully curated content, the initiative aims to document and breathe life into the stories and identities of local communities, making them accessible to a modern audience.

    SA-EU Dialogue: Democracy in the Context of Culture
    This major international co-production was created in collaboration with the Sibikwa Arts Centre in Benoni, South Africa. Funded by the European Union, the documentary draws comparisons between the European and South African experiences to explore the role of culture in democratic processes, engaging in a profound dialogue on identity and rights.
    Natisa (RAI Documentary Series)
    The artistic walk along the Natisone River has been transformed into a five-part visual narrative, co-produced by the Friuli-Venezia Giulia regional office of RAI. The documentary chronicles the artists’ caravan’s journey towards GO!2025, transforming it into a visual narrative of memory and landscape.

    The walking journey along the Natisone River has been turned into a seven-episode podcast. Co-produced by Radio Onde Furlane and directed by Paolo Cantarutti, the series transforms the creators’ physical journey into an audio narrative that evokes the region’s memories and landscapes.

    LANGUAGE RIGHTS

    AA6 (Associazione Articolo 6)
    Inniò is one of the founding members and the first signatory of “Articolo 6,” the first unified network bringing together all 12 historical linguistic minorities officially recognised in Italy under Law 482/99. By actively participating in this national platform, the association helps create a unified voice within Italian and European institutions, promoting strategic cooperation among different communities — from Albanians to Sardinians, from Friulians to Greeks — to transform linguistic diversity into a driver of cultural and civic development for the entire country.
